More lowered pegs

Has anyone tried the Suburban Machinery DRF7 pegs? I want something at least 25mm lower but don't want to pay Wunderlich's ridiculous price.

Have you considered the SW motech ones? don't know what they price for you down in CAN but here they're about 119€

The Surburban page says 1.5" drop???
That seems like quite a lot ....

We have a thread here somewhere on how to change the resting position of the rear brake pedal ...

The spline pitch on the gearshift lever is so coarse that moving it just one tooth changes the angle dramatically ...
I have the (yes very expensive) Wunderlich gearshifter and elongating the lever worked well for me but not sure how it would play out with dropped pegs.

What have others done to get controls lined up with lower pegs?

I LOVE my Suburban Machinery pegs. I have a 1200GSA and they were one of the best investments and should have done it a long time ago. They make the ride so much more enjoyable with my long legs and give enough room on the bike that I don't have that same cramped feeling. The folks at Suburban are great to work with and make a superb product. Did I mention I LOVE these pegs!

Thanks for the feedback. Great info in the thread link. The Moose Racing pegs look suitable and well made but appear to be discontinued. I would probably get the Wunderlich if they were made of stainless. That would justify their price (almost).

I also have an F800gs and have Pivot Pegz on this bike and they are also excellent investment for this bike. You can reverse the mounting and will also lower the Pegz.

I fitted the Suburban Machinery pegs to my F700GS and they are great. The gear lever was easily adjusted, but to make the brake lever more comfortable I welded an extra 10mm onto it. Quick spray of black paint and looks like a new one!

I have those, and really love them. I got them with their bar risers as well. Lovely combination, makes the bike a lot less cramped.

SO-
I am going to lower my pegs. I have a 35 inch inseam. A motocop buddy who rides a 1200GS suggested 2" is too big a drop. wonder if this is just because the ergos on his big GS or so different than my 800GS, anyone have an real work advise on how low to go?

suburban has a 1.5" lowering
precision has a 2" lowering

Meritlane, I have installed the Suburban Machinery pegs and have put maybe 300km on them. The 1 1/2" drop makes all the difference. Personally I would not hesitate to go another 1/2", especially with your legs! I'm a 33" inseam FWIW.
The shift lever serrations work out to about 1 1/4" inch per tooth. A bit course for fine tuning but worked OK with the S.M. pegs. I fabricated a riveted on aluminum extension to the brake pedal stop (about 1/2") and ran a die down the master cylinder push rod to give the travel required.
Suburban Machinery had quality control problems with a batch of peg return springs (missed the hardening process) but have been very fast at correcting the problem.
