I have the perfect tag location in mind, one that would help a local business out by bringing adv riders in to purchase their goods and have something to celebrate with once home . I just can't figure out how to make time for it dag nabbit!

Got Rat

We've got the Rat. So I hope its ok if we jump in on this game:) We wanted to ride this morning, and getting the rat seemed like fun :) We picked him up around 12:30, and we're taking a break to post this while on our way to put him somewhere new. I'll post his new location later today.

Some very nice bikes on this thread. I need to make a grab on my scooter to balance it out a little.

New Location

The Rat is now here (He's under the rock he's sitting on in the pic):

Heads up, there are about 2 miles of unpaved road going to the tailrace area. Its nice smooth hardpack though, very pavement-like, so no trouble, and there's a paved parking lot at the end.

It was such a beautiful sunny day today, just begging for a ride, but if it weren't for the rat, I would have gone home much sooner , I was cold! Even with my heated jacket and grips, I was shivering this morning with temps in the 40s (I needed more layers). You people riding in the snow are made of tougher stuff :)

Nice start to this new game! Welcome to ADV Am.E

One thing...even though that was a pretty easy tag to figure out it's always nice to list the town/road name/route number and maybe an approximate location in the grab post. It not only shows folks following the thread where the tag was, it helps the Cartographer post the locations on the map.

Nice

Cartographer is good to go. Nice grab/tag Am.E and welcome to the game! Now I have much farther to travel to get it. Excellent! (If I'm not Bruced, if so, the ride will still be awesomeness)

No doubt. I tell you what; the real excitement I can see is when you set out on a real ride when the chances of getting bruced are high! I can imagine riding two hours to the location at the southern border and seeing a bike or two setting off from the location. Wow..

I'm still about 2.5 hours out and won't leave until it warms up a bit. This game is going to get busy once the time changes and global warming kicks in a little bit.

Heh...it took us until just after noon to get to the tag today. I was sure the whole ride up that I was freezing my butt off for nothing, that someone closer would have nabbed it. I was genuinely excited when the rat was still there . (I haven't played any of the tag games before, but it definitely makes day rides more fun. Its hard to think of new places to ride when you've lived in an area for awhile, tagging makes those same old roads fun again:) (btw Mava, we loved the Jefferson national forest/wheats valley spot, very fun).

This is my first ride of the year . We did about 225 miles today, and that is ALL I wanted to do (wuss about the cold...). Honestly, if I lived closer, I wouldn't have moved the rat that far (its not really very far...ok, I figure we moved it 60 miles or so:)...the rat was ready to stretch his legs a little :)....
