Very cool, Ian. When?

I love northern CA. My sis is in Carmel, and my niece is in Alameda. We get our there when time and money permit, but haven't done so with a motorcycle. We have driven the coast between SF and Big Sur in a Miata, though, which was a hoot. Check out the cioppino at Phil's in Moss Landing, if you haven't yet.

Middish-October.

And speaking of Miata's, does anyone see a resemblance between my new ride and my old track bike?

Can't see the track bike picture. Do they both have the training wheels on the back?

I noticed that you need to be logged in to some Microsoft account to view the second pic - that's why it doesn't show for the rest of us.

Snowing hard now, the first real snow this year for us. Drought is so bad I hope it snows a bunch. Getting around can be annoying but any water is welcome in whatever way we caan get it.
Luckily I rode the CRF250L over thhe weekend. The Dobeck controller and the Yoshimura full system exhaust really woke the little bike up! Great machine.

Romantic, not so much but Broussard's Cajun Cuisines is good and in there is a pretty good brewpub.

Not far is Ste. Genevieve and they have a number of good places.

I've been cravin' Cajun, too. How romantic does it have to be for old people? If the food is good, romance will take care of itself. Thanks

And if the romance isn't good, there's always the food.

Closer to home, there's the Spicy Hot Pot with Pig's Feet at Jade Garden in Lawrence.
