Trebour Motorcycles in NJ
Can anyone offer any comments on the reliability and integrity of this dealer in general and their service department in particular? They seem like very good people and I'm looking for a strong Triumph dealership in New Jersey to forge a long relationship with. Thanks for any suggestions!

Yes, I can. Very good. A solid dealership and they gave me a better quote on a Ducati then my longtime dealership did. Service and parts also very good. 5/5 I'd rate them

Bought my first ever bike there new in 2009, Suzuki TU250X.
I've taken it back for service a few times, and always found the service and sales people to be friendly and helpful. |

Trebour OK by me
Had them service my DR650 one time (can't remember what or why). Their pricing was reasonablle and they were very good to deal with.

Bought my sv650 from them in '08. Seemed like stand-up guys, but haven't been back in a while because they're actually somewhat far from me. I'm thinking of a Tiger 800 XC, though, and may have to go talk to them. Metuchen is a tad closer to me, but a little harder to get to (so same time-wise). Motorcycle Mall is supposedly getting a Triumph franchise soon.

I'd recommend against Moto Mall. Not very personable...they are all about volume.

Yeah, I'm not too keen on thier sales staff (lot of 'take it or leave it' attitude), but they're close and the parts guys are usually hepful. Thier new showroom is awesome, though....

I've only heard good things about Trebour & bad things about Moto Mall, but if you live in that neck of the woods, there isn't too many dealers to get parts or whatever from.
And Rockwell was always a meeting spot when riding in that area, nice people. But YMMV

After that, I'd only go there to look at bikes and stuff, but I'd never buy anything there or have them do any service work. I've never done business with Trebour, so can't comment, but Metuchen has always been fair, honest and reasonable every time I've bought or traded in something.

Motorcycle mall is good to go try on stuff and then order from someone else online. They had that take it or leave it attitude back in 2000 when I bought my first bike.
