Stupid me, I went to 25th Street in NYC this morning..... I missed the part where you said it wasn't too far away from the previous tag.

I don't mind riding in this weather but I do mind riding into Queens on a day like today so I won't be grabbing the tag today.

Nice! Way to pop your cherry on a nice tag!. You should have waiting till it was covered in 2 feet of snow, that'll get you a headstart on ADV status

Haha, thanks. Would've been gravy had I gotten out there a little bit earlier - ride ended 3 blocks short of my destination when the roads turned to actual garbage.

Have a pic stashed in case I can't move it during the supposed 4-7pm window this evening.

Was around 12:30-ish - I was supposed to be somewhere by 1pm, roads were wet but fine when I left, started sleeting around noonish and wasn't melting on the side roads - got the tag, made it a ways further and the rear started walking. Holding out hope for salt and a 6pm lull...

Before anyone says anything, yes it's a terrible photo. Camera decided today was a good day to die. Phone's camera is quasi-busted. Decided to post it anyway because I may pull the bike in for some work next week.

Figured I could either wait and enjoy my 48+ tagholding due to inclement weather - OR - I could suit up and move the bike the last 3 blocks to a safe spot (my office).

Managed to move the bike the last 3 blocks to a safe place. Took about 30min. Tons of fun. Pilot Road 2's a good snow bike do not make.

Since the image is so bad, a couple of hints, this tag is in theme with a couple tags from last week, and less than 2mi from the previous. ('cuz the roads were shite, I'll make it more interesting next time, promise).

+1!!!

Would have done my Sunday morning Big Apple tag move, but couldn't find this one. Now that the roads have been plowed in Brooklyn, shouldn't be a problem getting to it:

LOL. A 50cc motor and some studs and dude's in business.

I think my hints are pretty good, the key is the part about keeping with two tags from the week prior. And I did see a fellow out on his GS today, from Manhattan no less, so there's no excuse
