As you can see, the pleasant ride home blew/vibrated the vast majority of the mud off my bike. I'm trying to decide if I should even wash her now.

Too bad the video is so choppy. The GPS feature is great. Nice job on the video.

I took a few pics yesterday after turning the GPS feature on on my camera. I figured how to get that to work now and it will be an easy way to map out the dirt roads on a ride by taking a pic of them as I fly by. That way, I will have a picture/GPS log of the dirt roads that I have ridden on or passed by during a ride. This method should simplify road selection when laying out a proposed route on the GPS the night before a ride and keep a custom map of found dirt roads.

Videos are great Barry. Never know when those crazy deer are going to come out of no where! I wish the video showed how deep those ruts were we were straddling. I'll have my camera and extra battery next time. 308 would have made some good video. Especially the hill climb at the power line!

WOW ! Cool to see so many doods got out and rode this weekend

That video with the gps tracking was pretty dang cool too.

Me and BLT decided to head for the hills and go dirt riding up on the plateau. Not too many pics but, caught a little action. Started out with a little frozen mud, got slick as it started to thaw butt by lunch it was fast and hookin' good. Rode till dark . . .I figured 8 hours on the bikes

Getting ready to take off....only 5 riders in out group:

This was a cool section....hugged this rock wall for a while:

Couple of vids of BLT :

Wait for it......dirt nap at :21

Remind you of Hickman?

Ken then BLT --- to his credit he was on his son's 250. Killer little bike but sometimes didn't have enough grunt to recover:

Good knobs are a must:

Had another killer day of woods riding........ my favorite

Rode hard - got whooped - slept 10 hours last night

Oh....... and for all you F'ers who sat on the couch this weekend

Where is this plateau and how do we get there?! Looks like some great riding!

That riding was based out of Livingston. Advanced woods. Not the kind of place you take a clean, straight bike. If you took your DRZ there, well......... I'm not sure it would look the same when it got back home

HA - yea I guess the first plan is to watch the weather and cross our fingers. We really need it to NOT get below freezing the night before. The mud will freeze and as it begins to thaw, it creates a thin layer of melted mud on top of frozen mud and will be super slick for an hour or so. It's totally doable, i just hope it's half way dry and not frozen.....will be fast :)

Anyways...... Hey TK - Probably just do a day ride? Kickstands up in Coalmont around 9:30 or so? Lets watch the weather tho before we make any firm plans.
