Where's the bikes?

Visiting in-laws in Boca. Went to FT. Lauderdale and in all our travels I saw one sportbike. On the beach side, I saw a Ruckus posse with some tricked out scooters and with the only other exception of Grandma on her Hoveround, it was Nada. I get the terrain is rather boring, but I expected to see something to brighten my day! Pretty cool seeing granny driving a brand new Vette down the highway though!
