That's funny. I see them talking about SLAP all the time but never realized what it stood for. I go to AR to ride at least once a year but if I thought they were all like that I might stay away.

Took alittle trip the other day.... road from Mexico, to Macon taking dirt/gravel most of the way. Ran into a little mud, what a surprise. Hoping to ride this Sunday. Anyone interested? Need to get out and ride!!!!

I'm from Columbia and bought a KLX250 last fall, but can't find any good places to take it. I've been thinking of going to Finger Lakes here in Columbia but I have a feeling I would be getting in the way of all the guys on actual dirt bikes who are flying through those trails. Any suggestions for a more relaxed but challenging off road ride in the area?

Columbia03bmw, Finger Lakes pretty much sucks,it has been ruined by the Big Quads .Big deep ruts and giant mudholes everywhere! There is a place by Jeff city called Wade Road riding area its operated by Larry's Motorsports,its about the only close place I know of.

Tough riding at Finger lakes. We always head down south to Chadwick. Awesome riding, hard to see it all in a day. St. Joe State Park is pretty good too.. Cool thing about your KLX is it's street legal, so when at Chadwick or St. Joe your not limited to the parks, but you can also hit the FR roads as well.

Have rode at Deep Water as well, lot of quads though.

St. Joe is pretty far away from "Central" area from what I remember. But I don't know where or what Chadwick is.

There's an off-road riding area on the east side of Fulton. Wish I could remember the name of it and tell you exactly how to get there. I was there once a few years ago.

St Joe park is located in Park Hills,Mo. I dont know where the come up with the name? There are some good trails when you get out of the sand and into the hills.
I left the mc in the basement but did 12 miles on the bicycle this afternoon.
