Need some wrenching guidance

I purchased an 1150 GS and need some help with:
changing to SS brake lines
adding speed bleeders
adding QD to fuel lines
adjusting headlamp

I know for some this is pretty rudimentary stuff, but I was hoping to find a fellow inmate who would be willing to help so I don't screw things up too badly. I am a noob with a wrench. I could pay, owe a favor, buy you and your date a nice dinner, etc. I just want to be able to learn a few things from someone who has done this already. Any takers? Located around Tacoma, WA.

That is a perfectly honourable request, if I lived a bit closer I'd take you up on the offer. There are a few board members near you so you are likely to get some response. Gig harbour is a nice place to live I'm sure.

If you offer enough salmon and vodka, I just might make the trip. Is it warm there?

Why not start with the simplest thing first? Maybe adjust the headlamp?

Remember, there is a headlight level lever cleverly hidden inside the plastic instrument/headlamp housing. This lever is meant to correct the headlamp level when a passenger is on board. Look for it (to the left of the low beam headlamp) and fiddle with it (operate it). It may give you some insight into how to adjust the headlamp.
