I have not been outside of the green card zone as of yet. I expect Stefan will be at the BMW MOA fest in Portland in July, I would spend some time with him there if you can get down.

regards,

Bill

Geez Bill, the summer's just too darn short around here. I'll be in Buffalo, Wyoming, via the Laverda rally in Nakusp, BC, during the MOA Portland gig. http://nortonrally.com/inoa-rally-2013
Anyways, Who's Stefan?

I will look into the Medjet package, especially if we're going through Albania from the sounds of it,,,a bit of a gong show road use wise.

Imat

Steve,

I forgot to tell you about IMAT. It is by donation (I think), they suggest $25.00 (tax deductible)

http://www.iamat.org/index.cfm

This is a very well run and simply brilliant organization when you learn of the services that they provide. We first signed up with them when we went to Africa and then Cambodia.

The good maps

Hi Steve,

I just learned when we can buy the good german riding maps for Europe

http://www.mapsman.com

You may want to buy the ADAC Maps.

They are so easy to follow, Big Green Line = Good Riding

http://www.mapsman.com/store/product.php?id=766

Of course I just ordered mine and then thought of offering you the chance to get in on the deal. Sorry about that

Thanks a bunch Bill. While we all will be equipped with Garmin Zumo's with the latest Euro 2013 maps, a good old fashioned map is also something I also always have.

Thanks very much. Yes, motorways are hardly ever a consideration even in the vastness that is my location in western North America.
