That's backwards. Don't warn 'em your coming and then go watch for them. Stake it out and catch 'em off guard.

Sucks to hear about this

On the east coast(Massachusetts) we have come across this from either greenies, horse people or some other "bad" people.
Some even had the audacity to put up wire across the trail as well as the tire slashing!

There is some really screwed up people!!!

It does look like it is a local resident. The guy is obviously unstable. I would think if the Sherriff just knocked on every door, it would be quite obvious which one was the loon. However then must still catch him doing something unless he just admits it.

If I'm not mistaken those homes around that area are pretty nice. [edit] I just checked in Zillow and the homes there range from 300k to 2 million.
I wonder if they've had any complaints filed against motorists. It's probably some rich loon that thinks that the entire area belongs to him/her.

Unless you're really good at sitting perfectly still for hours on end, you need to join the ride.

This reminds me of the fact that the wildlife organization I volunteer for (Southwest Wildlife www.southwestwildlife.org), was out in the middle of nowhere on 156th and Dynamite for years, then the building started up all around them. Well, guess what? Some homeowners in the area are apparently pissed off about the wildlife place being there. Animals at the facility in some of the peripheral cages on the property are turning up dead due to being poisoned.

So let's get this straight.....You (asshole homeowner) bought into an area where there was a known, licensed wildlife facility, yet you still bought the land, built the house, and now you are pissed that coyotes howl several times a day? To them I say Fah-Q.
