I have a 916, and a 950 ADV. Need only one more...the runabout...a SuperDuke 990. Me and the missus also have 300xc and 200xc respectively.

Just leave two bikes over at your best friends garage, like I do.

This solves two issues.

1. Outta sight outta mind.

2. It guarantees you'll stop by and visit with your buddy regularly.

As far as your wife sees it, you only have one bike around at a time.

I have it made. The Queen buys them for me and then loves to watch me transform them. She's also pretty handy at the track.

She also believes in me buying the best protection and tools money can buy...............life is good...................if you're me.

My three can be ridden on the street or in the dirt. Wifey said all the vehicles must fit in the garage at the same time. I think she thought she had me on that one, but it turned out the garage was bigger than she thought. Bike number 4 is going to be a bit tougher.

You don't need 3 motorbikes, you only need two and there are two good reasons for that:
1) 950SE
2) Hayabusa

Trying to rationalize owning three bikes sounds like you feel a little guilty about it; Asking others to rationalize three bikes is just showing off

I agree,humans have lost their ability to live in the present,always saving up and waiting for the day they can really enjoy themselves.For many that day never happens.
Best to getter done now is what I think. 3 bikes is OK,4 is barely is enough in my shed.
But not all streetbikes in my case.

I like it when a guy will come here to buy a bike,he wants it,hes ready to guy it,but the classic " I gotta see if my wife will let me" comes up. I couldnt bring myself to say such a thing.

Having 3 bikes is neat..............as long as they get ridden.
If I have one that just sits for months I start wondering if it needs to be here.
