There was one listed late last spring by a private party in Portland; it started out around $6k, then it was $5k, then it was $4k, then it was something absurd like $3k. With luggage.

If we like your bike, then we will contact you (either by phone, text and/or email) to inform you of our interest (and details) to have your bike at our Art / Gala event.

Leather jackets (....female models....)
Vintage Helmets / Boots
Biker couture
Professional Photographer
Live Music
Beer/Wine

The event will be open to some of the public. (Bikes will be viewed as "main event"...Art viewing, Drinking, Music may also be at the event).

Not my ad, just thought it sounded familiar... without the drive over the hill.

I'm sure it will pop back up again. Heaven knows there's enough interesting bikes around here that they should not have a problem filling it up.

The bike is sort of cool but the more pressing issue is his reason for selling. As someone who has owned a pile of bikes and also bought a few rings over the years, we should all encourage this fella to keep the bike and just keep right on doing what he's been doing.
