Food for the event.... I've already got a couple cans of pork chops laid out. Some MRE's, and a #10 can of rolled oats. Think I should bring some powdered aggs and a couple cans of sausage or bacon for breakfast?

Someone told me to go ahead and smoke some beef and maybe some mullet and it will be okay to eat even then. I haven't found any inexpensive mullet however tilefish is .39 a ton.
