I hate to change the subject or lack there of......but I have a technical question.

I'm revamping the look of the 150r and part of my plan involves changing the seat cover.
Seat cover. Check
Little diagram of how to put it on. Check.
Staple gun (t50) with 1/4 staples. Check.

Staples actually sticking and staying where I put them. Negative.

So any tricks?? Do I need to buy an air driven stapler?

I think it hilarious that with all the work I've done on this bike, it's the fricking seat cover giving me hell.

Yeah a spring loaded staple gun won't sink them in. I've used a pnumatic stapler with good results though.

You can do it by hand, but prob not with T50's Or, I have an airstapler and I think electric stapler I can flat rate to you, $4.50 in shipping is a lot cheaper than buying one for one use.

I'll root it out of my garage tomorrow. I've never actually used the air stapler, it came as a set with a framing nailer and brad nailer.

Gcmk, you could also try an upholstery shop if one is close and you're not wanting to wait. See if they'll do it on the cheap.

That's a really fair price. Judging by the wear on the cases and frame, it looks like it has seen some significant use. If it has a lot of hours on the clock, it may need a little TLC.

The 2008 400/450/530 XC4 models were not as well sorted as the 09-up, but the issues were pretty minor and inexpensively corrected. Aftermarket support is good, the valves rarely move and reliability reports in the XC4 threads have been generally favorable.

Oh, and they are violently fast. You will do wheelies. Lots of them.

It's not too far away, might have to go take a look Monday.
