Its the main drag Tharwa to Shannons. The high clay bit.

I've done that road possibly 30-40 times, never in the middle of winter, amazing pics.
I got to get down there this winter, thanks for sharing the pics

Edit:
Is it open throughout the winter months or do they close it, from time to time.

This peak in the background viewed from the tower shouldnt be too hard to name...the area has been in the headlines lateley...

OK, lets get going gents!3 tractors, right on the roads, whos been paying attention?I know for a fact Unc has been past the first two, the third is on a road a little less travelled , but one of my faves, all in NSW, but one only by the skin of its teeth!
