My three sons (all under 16) ride. Isn't it the bike rather than the rider that is insured? I am with State Farm, and I pay the basic rate (about $120 a year) for each of the XR70's.
I asked and they said that their friends can legally ride the bike if they came out to the trails with us. So, unless I am wrong, you pay the insurance for the bike (all of the kid's bikes are under my name), but they can legally ride them. Please feel free to correct me!

![]() I am not sure but I know someone who did it last year and it was free. They said it cant be done but with some further investigation made it happen. You can ask my friend for more details on it Blueillusion10 on this site.

I've got a ttr90 insured in my name through state farm and I think it's around 130 a year. No problems with the little ones riding it. In fact I'm looking for a 2nd one for my younger son to ride.

We had an issue too they wouldn't insure it unless me (a licences driver) riding the xr70.
insurance is a F&@king bullshit organized crime scam. I have to lie if I want to insure it, and the insurance will be void if an unlicensed rider has a accident. Who the hell do they think will ride a 70
