I also have a R80ST (same as R65) headlight bucket with headlight that I am going to put on here someday... The headlight has some sort of home-made clear-plastic impact-resistant stuck to it, but otherwise is totally functional.
Pics .... later?.... have to go up to Boston for the next three days, so checking in here is going to be minimal.... work, sigh..... ![]() |

Hi bpeckm,
I might NEED that headlight. Is the plastic part over the glass OR replacing the glass? Please keep me at the front of the queue. Thanks, spo

SOLD
I've got the volt meter off of my r90/6 and I'll never use it again. It works and doesn't appear to be damaged. If you want it and the fork mounting tab it was on (no idea if that was a fairing tab at some point?) shoot me a PM. It's not cosmetically perfectly new plastic but it's intact and cleaned, ready to install, and 100% functional. Maybe 40$? SOLD Kt-88 screwed with this post 02-20-2013 at 03:31 PM |

r100 parts bike
Ive got a bunch of parts for a 82 r100
Parts and price below. Figure in extra for shipping depending where you are center stand - 50 Kickstand - 30 Headlight assembly without the lens. Hell and all the electronics inside - 15 Front engine cover - has one light gash in it - 30 rear wheel (snowflake design, for drum brakes, bearings likely need servicing) - 150 Transmission housing, without the rear cover - 80 BMW airbox assembly, with the intake and even a relatively new air filter! - 60 Stock alternator and generator (small crack in some plastic needs repair) - 100 r100 bike frame and subframe - 200 as im going through this there will likely be a lot more Willing to trade for crash bars if youve got em. If you want any pics, PM me or respond. Thanks guys! |

that can be easily fixed with a MI or TIG weld.....easier than finding one.

Hi all! I'm looking for the headlight 'parts' for a 75 R75/6. By 'parts' I mean lens, reflector, chrome ring, etc. I've got the bucket but thats it. PO lost them when he had a Vetter V installed. Anyone have any of that lying about or know where I can source one without having to sell a kidney!

I'm sure some wizard could do it, but that is one mighty light, oxidized piece of aluminum to be welded. I've TIGed two beer cans together, bottom to bottom, but I'm sure I couldn't weld that little diffuser.
