Getting to NZ in February

Finishing riding through South America and will be shipping my bike to Auckland.

Would love to meet up with some ADV riders along the way.


Still working out logistics for getting me and the bike there. Will plan to ride NZ for 2-3 months

February/March is a great time of year for touring around. Let us know if you find yourself in the Rotorua area, Clintnz and I like meeting up with other ADVers. And we will possibly want to interrogate you about riding in South America

I'm in Auckland, and I have a van if you need bike collected or a place to stay. Last time I brought a vehicle in it went to a Customs depot near the airport.....I'm about 20 minutes from Airport/Port.

Will be glad to talk about riding in South America. Been here 9 months or so....

Thanks for the info. I am working on all these details right now..... Hopefully getting it all sorted out while I enjoy Buenos Aires for a week!

I know. Looking forward to it. Being on a RTW ride does not give a whole lot of time to get routes all figured out for the next country.

Meeting with Shipper in Buenos Aires this afternoon and then will be working out timing, logistics on NZ end, Carnet etc.... Lots to get done but should arrive NZ within the next 3 weeks!

Boarding my plane to Auckland in just 5 hours.... Arriving Monday afternoon. Picking up my bike..... will be ready to explore NZ soon!

Seeing we knew you were comming over we've organised some excellent weather for ya....arh don't mention it, just good o'l Kiwi hospitality. If your first off the plane make sure you turn the lights on in the terminal. Have a blast
