I've ridden by it many times now but havent had a chance to give it a go.....

I chatted with a dude last year who has ridden it several times. Sounds like a fun 5 km's

the quinns are best done north to south as there a couple of real gnarly climbs.

Too funny, the lad I was talking to said the same thing except he said start on the south side due to a rock slab that has a water hole on the bottom. He recommended lofting the front down the slab so the bike wouldn't Endo in the mud hole at the bottom....

Hmmmm.......

the last time i rode the quinns a wr250 lofted the front wheel off a ledge into a water hole without checking the depth, when he landed in the hole only the handle bars where visible.that was on the south side.the quinns is a 5 out of 5 on the trail scale but it sure is a hell of a ride.

North to south it is then

Along with the usual fun hydrolines in the area, I've also been told of some fun sounding single track....

How much longer until this snow melts

there is also a real sweet piece of single track around the north side of mair lake that you would like but the entrance is hard to find.

Rode it on the 450 with Flanny and Dallas a couple of years ago - really cool trail, great big rock slabs with some vertical pitches to climb. I wouldn't want to take a 950 on it, although I'm sure Flanny would.

Fun trail.
