Definitely, it was better than in Adelaide. We saw reflections of lightning in the south part of the sky.

gonescratching and guys, thanks for the ride!

Anyone know a good (and cost effective - cash) trailer builder, in and around Adelaide?

I want a 7x4 or 7x5 with a removable front tailgate (?), that I can interchange with a front wheel holder to put bikes in....

Cheers,
Aaron.

Nah, I want something that won't break the second time I use it. Besides it would look funny being towed by the Pajero.

Also, I want to be able to use it as a normal trailer.

I've sent a request off to Sar Major Trailers, see what they come back with.

Sar major can be a bit rough, you get what you pay for.
Have you had a look at Modern's range?

we have just gone through looking at trailers for moving loose stuff from WA & farm trailer here. Modern seemed pretty good & far & away best price we found. If I had unlimited money Miegel Bros Murray Bridge look really well made.

Thanks for the ride Chris & boys. Bit unlucky with the weather but was good to get the bike out, another 20 or so rides & it should be sorted. Great riding country over here.

+100

I had Kessners build me a 3 bike trailer in the mid '90s.

Towed dozens of bikes 10s of thousands of kilometers (separate trips ) and NEVER had a problem.

Thoroughly recommended.

I did get a checkerplate aluminium floor fitted as well as a couple of tool boxes a couple of years later so that I could load/unload bikes by myself.

Cheers, SB
