custom seat
Previous owner sold me bike with such seat.He was also short on inseam. It actually is prettyccomfortable. Notice that front forks are slid down and rear has akso been adjusted so I can tip toe bike at stop sign. This easy mod was done per Sommer KTM website fir people having users reaching the floor (like me)
I am 29 inseam so I cant afford the Timber syndrome. Looking firward to tiding it again.pulled it off from for sale section.

They are the standard KTM ones, personally I prefer Berg's racks for wolfman luggage.

Berg's rack link...I've had both, the KTM 950SM racks and the Berg's/Wolfman racks..the Berg's are way more sturdy and offer more side protection if you happen to lay it down.

Decapitated. Yikes.
There are easier ways to get to that front spark plug. ![]() Doing more tinkering than riding lately. Superplush is going the extra mile to get the suspension dialed in. ![]() ![]() The LC8 motor is a thing of beauty. A 100hp, 950cc twin, shoe-horned into a dirtbike? Still sounds nutty--because it is! ![]() EDIT: just a tip to those still fiddling with carb settings, i'm at sea level, 2 wings pipes, stock air box & filter configuration, and all smog parts have fallen off, replaced by block-off plates. I moved the needles "up" to position 3 (middle notch) long ago, and found the sweet spot only last week by setting idle mix screws out 1 1/2 turns. Idle screws had been out much further--as far as 2 3/4--and it ran great, but smelled rich with occasional surging with a little throttle just off idle. This small adjustment made a significant change for me. Now smoother, burns cleaner, and power still comes on instantly with slightest throttle. Check your idle mix screws if you have similar issues. Carb floats are set at manual-recommended height. All jets are stock. SFKLR screwed with this post 02-19-2013 at 12:26 PM |

One paper filter. Installed after the two lines join, and before the stock fuel pump. Bike very rarely sees dirt. Peace of mind if nothing else.

^^This is my buddies bike, he was unlucky enough to have a car hit him head on! KTM required the neck to get him another frame with the same vin # on it. It happened in the middle of a race and he was winning.
