Thanks. It started off yellow but I really love the green. Yes, the FD breather line vents up at the bike's fuse box under the seat. I routed it straight up and then back down again so that any water droplets from condensation would get trapped in that low point and evaporate from there rather than running straight back down into the FD.

Good deal. I've been intending to do something similar for my FD and transmission vents.

I'll give a better review when I have a few more thousand miles under my belt.

So I have to ask, what is the pic on the front fender? It looks like what I have on mine but it is too fuzzy to see.

Looks like an XM Satelite receiver antenna to me. Just an educated guess though.

I've thought about using that spot for a GoPro mount. How stable an image do you get from that spot, and do you notice the bike running any warmer with the camera mounted there?

And how did you mount it? Got any close up pics?

4-wheeled GS!

Today I installed a bicycle rack I've been working on for a week or so. I have a few small changes to make, but this is very close to the final version. It's over-built; very strong and stable, and will accept bicycles of varying sizes, though I plan on using it mainly for my mountain bike. It is attached to a rear rack I built several months ago, which also accepts a Pelican 1550 top box.

This version is for local bicycle hauling, but I plan on making a version that will attach to the top of the Pelican so I can take all my gear and bicycle on multi-day trips. It would also be able to attach to any flat surface, such as any type of rear-rack adapter plate, etc.

Cheers!

Found this on a friend's bike so I dicided to film it for a future video. The repair was fairly involved.

Pulled it with home made tools, the owner made them for this.

We also replaced the seal, so the FD needed to be pulled further apart.

The Final Drive with the guts out.

New seal installed, and the components reassembled.

Pressing in the new flange, this one is steel instead of alloy.

New flange installed.
I also replaced the outside seal:

Took most of the day due to filming and tool modifications, but I think it will make some great video!

The GoPro was mounted using one of their simple sticky mounts. It seems solid. It is in front of the oil cooler but doesn't really seem to block it all that much. But then it's 30F, I'll keep an eye on it when it's 90F. You do sense some vibration when at idle, but you don't notice it much when riding. I should have mounted it a tad farther forward so you don't catch then end of the beak, but it still works.
I haven't had a chance to really put the GoPro through the ringer on the motorcycle just yet (got it for Christmas), so I can't show you any awesome video, you'll have to settle with taking the Pulaski Skyway into Hoboken NJ.
