2013 yellow model
Spent a couple hours at the International Motorcycle Show in Chicago last Friday. I think the best looking 2013 model is this yellow one. I really like the black frame and wheels.

I have to quit looking at this thread... Another sweet KLR

Spent the weekend at Little Sahara. Lots of fun. HERE is a link to the ride report.

I've been there but I was a good distance from any support. BUT, I pulled out my trusty Leatherman tool, I was back on the trail in no time.
My other comment, that, for sure is "old school" KLR.
From your picture,
#1- Foot peg on the swing arm.
#2- Shoe brakes
#3 A real kick starter.
What year is it?

I was drooling over the yellow one at the IMS in NYC. I miss my KLR. It'd be a nice street oriented dual sport companion to my much, much better off road G650X.
