Questions about my bst carb on my 640 sm?

Hi guys so I have taken the top of my carb to move the needle clip down one and drill the two holes either side of the needle hole. And it has a needle only with three slots, has no plastic spacer in between needle and slide?

It's a 2005 640 supermoto.

Someone been there already? Or did they change things?

This picture of my year bike shows a plastic spacer (6) and a shim (36) which I don't have

Thanks guys

Chris,

Welcome. The Orange Crush forum is for KTM 950/990's. You need to post this over in the Thumper forum where's there's several people very knowledgeable on the BST40 carb.

Someone was there and lost those pieces.
Check your needle for wear.
