The Carretera Austral , formerly known as Carretera General Augusto Pinochet, is the name given to Chile's Route 7. The highway runs about 1,240 kilometers (770 mi) from Puerto Montt to Villa O'Higgins through rural Patagonia.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The road is beautiful lots of native rhubarb growing along the side of the road ![]() The outskirts of Puyuhuapi ![]() ![]() Stayed in a great little B&B where we met two local riders from Osorno Turns out that one of them was one of the top Chillean rally riders, he was on his Dads Super tennere' SYDADVGS screwed with this post 03-06-2013 at 04:01 PM |
