I've only used it under grip heaters. Honestly, I'm not sure if you would need them under Oxfords. I don't recall hearing people talk about having heat sink issues with Oxfords. I assume since the heating element is buried inside the grip itself it is better insulated from the bar and closer to the surface of the grip. It certainly wouldn't hurt, but it might be overkill.

People have different opinions, I tried several of them and for me the Touratech one was the only one I liked on my XCountry. I collected this info on my Gear Shift Lever Web Page, hope it helps!

really must go get one. drilled few holes in mine but its some lump of metal why they make so big is beyond me

Oxford grips are fine without tape underneath.

Rear spindle O/D 19.43mm I/D 11.85mm HTH

Dealer installed my Touratech subframe and pannier racks yesterday, but the Ohlins oil reservoir mounting hardware isn't compatible with that set-up. It's jury-rigged with zip ties for now, and I'll call Touratech tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone had encountered the same issue. Dealer tech said that a metal clamp (which they didn't have) should do the trick.

I think Tbarstow has the TT racks with an Ohlins shock. Hopefully he can throw out some ideas.

Yes, I have the TT rear end and an Ohlins shock.

You need a milling machine with a hole mover tool and it will fit like this:

Thanks for the guidance, and it seems like a solid set-up. I'm hoping Touratech might suggest a slightly less machine-intensive solution, since I lack machines and skills.

Rear spindle overall length 300mm, small dia. length 295mm
I'm looking for a plain bush to replace the (collapsed) swinging arm needle roller bearing on the exhaust side, 25mm id, 32mm od, anyone know of a supplier, before I get one turned up?

The bracket is the one that Ohlins supplies with the shock. If all else fails, send the bracket to me and I can modify the holes.

Ohlins is sending a rubber block and hose clamp. We'll see how that works.

Any suggestions for replacement mirrors? PO traded the bike in without any, and the dealership put on some generic cheap ones that I don't really like.
