ATF for Clutch Hydraulic Fluid ?
ATF for Clutch Hydraulic Fluid ?
I'm rebuilding the clutch hydraulic system on my Nighthawk 650 and would like to replace the DOT 3 brake fluid with ATF. Are there any problems that will arise if I do this ? The ATF is a lot easier to be messy with and there should be no high temperatures to cause any boiling. I appreciate any comments. Ride Safely,

Thanks. Seal compatibility is very important, so I will continue to use brake fluid.
Thanks again,
