If it is raining be sure to bring a ziplock or similar waterproof bag for your timecard.

The are marked 3 times per stage and in and out of service. If they get wet or even damp they tend to disintegrate and that is a hassle.

It has better strapping loops at the bottom, but only one loop on the top. It opens by turning the little levers to unseal it...it opens wide enough to pull out a time card and easily insert back in...the trick will be to insert the card back in as dry as possible.

I'm usually so amped up that I would never be able to operate that with 20 seconds to go before launch. They'll still get wet I think but I'm guessing we'll have a nice day. The rain before hand will make the sand nice and tacky and keep the dust down. Two years ago, the conditions where perfect the sand was nice and damp.
