Sorry, it was more a reflection of the earlier posts about the lack of TV coverage on the USA on Speed...

RoadracingWorld.com SPEED is only planning to cover MotoGP and the AMA season-opener at Daytona. AMA will likely be on another network. That announcement is expected to come next week. - David Swarts

I vote for Al Jazeera/BeIn.

Edit: If AMA/DMG could just figure out how to run the races in a timely fashion, it could be a pretty tidy package.

Race at tracks that are safe enough to race in the rain - Start the race at the specified time. Not complicated.

What Elena's announcement doesn't cover is that the rest of the season, for her, and for many others, depends on DMG's ability to produce some sort of TV viewing package.

I've been a cheerleader (as much as possible) for AMA Racing but this year looks dire. The lowest number of Daytona 200 entries in what..... history? No TV package? Attendance tanking? The racing is exciting but that obviously isn't enough.

Same here. Big fan of AMA Pro Road Racing and there is a lot to like about the series but I can't even put into words my dissappointment with the lack of a TV deal in March.
