Somebody was selling a pair of OEM ones in the Flea Market a couple days ago. They had already sold one, but they can be used on either side. I was going to text you, but didn't know whether or not you liked those ones on your bike.
Edit - I have Aprilia Tuono mirrors on the Strom (common replacement to combat buffeting). Not sure if they'll fit the X, but I'm thinking they will. We can try them out if you want, but they may be too short to get a good view past your shoulders.

We can give them a try when I borrow your torque wrench. I've also seen some mention of using KTM folding mirrors. Michael |

I use these on mine and they work great
pricey, but good mirros with lots of adjustments and sturdy as hell. I called to be sure they'd work and ended up getting the KTM ones....

I got mine from Henri (I've bought these for multiple bikes and like them a lot):

LED Tail light?
Hi,
Has anyone had problems with the standard LED tail light? Mine seems to be dead! When the bike is switched on, voltage to the plug that connects to the tail light is 0.3v, when applying the brake, it jumps to 11,5 v, but the light never comes on? So I don't know if this is a bad LED tail light, or something in the wiring. All fuses are fine. BMW wants more than an arm and a leg for a new tail light! Has any one fitted any other brands? Any help will be appreciated. |

Touratech sells a LED tail light for the XChallenge. I don't recall how much it costs though.

I have several wire issues on the rear wiring loom (as well as elsewhere). So I would take it out and inspect it. If I recall its relatively easy to remove the plug is under the seat and there are a few zip-ties.

Picture request
Want to drain the coolant. Is the bolt ahead (towards the front of the bike) of the oil drain the coolant drain? If so would someone be so kind to take a picture and circle anything I need to remove? Like any hoses or anything as well? Thank you in advance.
