And on an unrelated now does anyone think CO residents may be leading the rush on 10 round .458 Socom magazines in the near future?

James posted a spot route on the RR. Switch it to satellite once you drill in. Jeez. Some of that was kinda sketchy.

Since you are in a a hateful mood, go ahead and hate me too. I just returned from Antartica. What a incredible place. No, it was not on a motorcycle but a photo. shoot. Did talk to a guy in Ushiaia. Argentina, as far south that you can ride on a 00 R1150 GS that had a great ride there. That would be cool.

Debating about a Loco run tomorrow. Helping someone from TWT mount some tires tonight and if successful we will need to scrub them in. Plus it is a new to him 1150GS and he's been needing a good ride.

Well, it is about 2.5 hours up there from here on a moderately direct route. I doubt we'll do a direct route, but will probably find some smaller roads after Lampassas. I'm figuring on hitting the Loco sometime after 11:30 and before 12:30. Okay, I'm targeting 11:30, but figuring it'll be more like noon. I haven't actually planned a route yet. With Scott, it will be all pavement or mostly all pavement.

Well, guys and gals. I am starting the hunt for another bike. Gotta be lighter than the Big Ugly (not that hard), faster than KiLleR (not that hard), more dirt capable than the big girl, and reliable (cuz it is going to Mexico). Got no idea what it will be.

If you're willing to compromise on speed (say, 70-75 mph cruise) then there's a whole buncha bikes to choose from.

The new BMW 700GS looks interesting. About 130 lbs lighter than your GSA and has a high cruise speed.

, more dirt capable than the GS, reliability......watching the guys and gals down under for them to put their bikes through the paces !
