Thanks for the compliment!
To do the shots you quoted I used a flashlight and different colored caps. It's simple but effective, especially in small, dark spaces where I can take my time and not worry about light pollution. |

I think it's pretty cool to be on a global forum and be able to identify something, and know exactly where it is. |

Thanks! Long exposure and night shots are a guilty pleasure. The setting up and time involved drives my girlfriend crazy.... until she gets sees the results.
Here's some more... This one's in a field next to my house looking towards the road into town. [IMG] [/IMG]this is the reason I went out there... I drove by this hay barn that had caught fire on my way home and ran back out there with the camera and tripod. [IMG] [/IMG]In town here where you can see two railroad crossings... [IMG] [/IMG]and this one's at a cabin some friends rented for new years... [IMG] [/IMG]

and some more...
New Orleans in the french quarter... they were filming some kind of commercial and this girl was the "star" couldn't resist the strong lighting from their setup... [IMG] [/IMG]A ferris wheel in Galveston TX while traveling. Good thing I passed through at night! [IMG] [/IMG]off my back porch when a storm was blowing over... [IMG] [/IMG]this one is crazy. I was screwing around trying to show a friend about long exposure. I took a flashlight and got in front of the camera and got a good surprise shot! I think it's about 30 sec exposure... [IMG] [/IMG]
