Suggestions For Leaving A Car At The Border Of Baja Mexico

My friends & I are heading for a week of dirt bike riding in Baja. We are going to trail our bikes to the border and need suggestion on where to leave our truck and trailer. We prefer to leave the vehicle on the US side, either in Yuma, AZ or Calexico, CA.

We will enter Mexico on Saturday Mar. 2nd. Please leave a post if you know of a safe place to store the vehicle?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!!!

I left mine in the huge parking area behind the Calexico FD. Great guys there...

Is the lot fenced? Or, is there any security? Did you need to get permission from the Fire Department?

I've left vehicles at motels in El Centro a few times, and had no problems.

The FD deal posted also sounds good.

Just park it 'in the light', if possible.

If none of that works out I know of a good and safe place in Tecate at $5/day. I go there about every 8 weeks and have never had an issue.
