my advice is,,don't drink it if you are serious about racing,,it dehydrates your body something fierce, and the next day you'll have no reserve to call upon when you are all sweated out! drink AFTER the race! after you WIN,,and all them trophy girls are wanting to rub up against ya!

beer and barbeque in the bilding is easier than riding to the 'Y' and putting up with surly waitstaff.

Missed ya but figured the rain chased ya back indoors. The specials were Pork Chops (2) with loaded smashed taters, Veggies and garlic toast. The other choice was a sizeable Chicken Pot Pie. There ended up being 12 of us to torment the waitstaff. She was in good form and took good care of us.

All the various parts have arrived... I'll be in the shop this weekend installing on the GS

Fuse box with relay for all the electrical accessories,
A hard wired plug for the GPS,
A Powerlet outlet for the new electrified tank bag,
LED auxillary lights on a new light bar,
A new handlebar mounted switch for the lights,
A cable port in the new tank bag to pass the electrical cable.

Inside the tank bag will be a charging station for the iPhone and other toys and the cable port looks big enough to also,pass through a hydration tube so the water bag can sit inside the tank bag.

Gonna be a fun weekend tinkering...

Look for my old tank bag and HID lights to show up in the flea market soon. Just gotta find my camera to take some pics...

Not many miles for the day, but 3 1/2 hours of back roads and circling lakes and reservoirs!

I love my KLR,,

Now for some burgers and beer!

A couple of Thursdays ago it was sunny & I got out on the bike...froze my ass off but had fun. Today I decided to enjoy the sun in shorts/t-shirt & get some maintenance/lawn mowing/etc done. Hitting the hop czar now
