Unfortunately, he had shoulder surgery a couple of weeks ago, so he won't be riding for a while. I think it will eventually be a good thing, but right now, of course, he's miserable. I think he may have started rehab a few days ago, so that won't be much fun for a while either. He had a lot more work done that I ever did to mine, but if it's anything like mine, once it's all healed up, he will wonder why he didn't do it years ago. Of course, this is nothing new to him; that's the shoulder he tore up when he wrecked while bulldogging and he's already had surgery on it after that accident.

He wants us to ride his bikes while he can't; maybe I could bring his Husky up there. You know, sort of have him there in spirit?

That's the angle I'm working on. Spring Break is March 18-22 and since my wife is a teacher (and off work), she usually makes me take her somewhere. I'm using my Jedi mind tricks on her right now to go "trout fishing" at Norfork Dam Site, which is only about 31 miles to the north of Jack's. I have to be careful though, the White Rock enduro is the next weekend and I want to go to that too. Can't overload the "guy stuff" that week.

Will there be a Friday ride again, maybe back along the old railroad bed like last year or something equivelant? I might pull our camper up there on Thursday night and ride around there Friday if anyone else will be around.

Greg

Please don't judge all of us Sippians off of meeting the SupahFlid...

I hope to make some of the camp out weekends up there this year, but will be in UT during our Spring Break week, so y'all take good care of Supah!

You are quite welcome. Looking forward to meeting you. That is what these camping events are designed to do is to meet other riders from wherever. The last thing I said to Supah before we parted from last years ride was if there were more Mississippians of he and David Q's high caliber bring them on. LOL

Don't hold me up to DQ's high character either... I'd say I'm somewhere between the two of them!

The ride is going to be a great ride. Last year I think it was the funnest ride I went on. Everyone was "in the groove" and rode well together.

Yes, that ride is going to be hard to duplicate. All the water played a big part in that. Gonna ride the Red River Road this year. For those who have never ridden it that should be a hoot! Gonna go explore some over there next weekend with Scotty and Tennessee Thumper. Daren says he has some areas in mind that might be some fun so I may be updating the route after next weekend.
