Hi guys, I am looking for a KLR650 owner in the New Orleans area that would allow me to ride their bike. |

I am assuming you have a valid MCY license? PM me and we can figure it out.

I say keep the XR650L, the KLR is a pig.
Fix up the Honda with a larger fuel cell, better seat, luggage, some sort of wind protection, then you will be set.

+1 with Electrode if choosing between those 2 - (my bro in law in Colorado has a klr) I rode it in Arkansas last month and it is great for the road and maybe some hard packed dirt roads if not to much gravel on them. Can you say "Top Heavy"? At least it feels that way to me. But the Honda is way better suited for anything rougher than that!

Shreveport sucks. Just saying
. No good curvy roads, no public land. If anyone in the area has found anything good that I'm missing, let me know |
