Yeah... what's the difference between a "Supermoto" and a "Motard"? They seem to be called either and look the same to me. Like I said... never understood (know much about it) the concept... I just see pics of dual sport/dirt bikes with small wheels n' street tires.

And tomatillos instead of tomato to keep it all green. I highly recommend using a couple serrano peppers in the mix also.

It is a time consuming endeavor unless you have a location were you can get pre fire roasted hatch peppers. In Colorado Springs they would have a big fire roaster sitting out in the grocery store parking lot going when the hatch peppers caming in. It was great to just buy bags of those and throw in the freezer for use later.

Supermoto is just a shortened term for Super Motard. So motard, tard, SM, all the same thing. The main thing is they are light weight bikes with tall suspensions and 17 or 16.5" wheels and street/race rubber. There are some companies that make purpose built SM's.

Roasting the peppers does add some time to it, but so worth it! I usually roast mine on my gas grill.

On my 690 I just switch out the wheels.

Leverage and lighter weight over what you have with a crotch rocket, so in tight transitions you can get through much faster. Of course in sweepers obviously the crotch rocket will run off and leave you. The SM suspension is a plus when it comes to rough roads as well.

It's definitely a cheaper alternative as well. Not to mention, you toss an SM down the road it will he a hell of a lot cheaper to fix.

I'm just as comfortable leaned over on my Gixxer as I am sitting up on the 690, but that's more of a personal preference thing for a lot of folks.
