I think Hotel Niki should be about 200m (3 or 4 blocks) from the bivouac, I can attach a map if you want. I will be bringing my bivvy scooter for any hectic last minute dashes to & from the room (in Serres I forgot my body armour one morning, but that was a breeze as the bivvy was on the hotel grounds ... typical me, I need about 3 coffees in the morning)

According to the Orga site, the bivvy should be on the red dot I placed on the map

NO those are the teams that offered a proffessional support package officially so far.
It is not obligatory to be with a team, but if someone wants support package for these teams we know their value and expertise

Ok, thanks, I am probably coming with a new team called Hellas Adventure Legends (you probably know him, Alexandros Sougiannis), they offered me an amazing deal to transport the bike from Athens & back, plus a basic mechanical support package during the race (you know, filters, oil, RB changes etc)

Looking forward to racing a multi-day again, good luck to your team with road book checking

I have a few questions, whenever you've got the time...




The graphic above says that "Routes and Tracks information are subject of change on the 15th of February".
I guess since you have already checked the roadbook, they are the final Routes? If not, no problem.

What I don't get with this funky graphic is:

a) The format of the long days.

For example, Day 2, I can see 132kms of Liaisons and 245kms for Specials.

Then I have refueling points, I assume with distances between them? (RF1 22km, RF2 144km, RF3 78km).
So, cumulatively, the Refueling Points for the 377km Day 2 fall at:
RF1: 22kms
RF2: 166kms (RF1 +RF2)
RF3: 244kms (RF1 + RF2 + RF3)

with another 133kms to finish the 377km long day. Am I correct or fucking up the maths?



b) Is it possible to have the daily routes as (for example):

Day 2:
L1: 50kms
SS1: 100kms
L2: 50kms
SS2: 145kms
L3: 32kms

So that (as above), L1 + L2 + L3 = 132kms, and SS1 + SS2 = 245kms. That would be a great help to figure out where the Refuelling points fall in the liaisons.

If you guys are talking to Mary Kerr that's great, but it still need to be resolved whether the ACU repatriation insurance and medical insurance is valid for the event. This is a critical element of the start permission and we do not want to spend another 300 euros on event insurance.
