Skipped to end of thread to add my congratulations on surviving a serious accident, disappointed by a lot of other stuff I'm reading.
I had a similar accident- higher speed but far less injury. I managed to clear the truck and fly through the air I guess... got my head bolted in a steel cage for a couple of months but can't complain! There are things I can't do anymore but I'm so glad to be alive; no use crying over spilt milk. Happy new year, and stay positive! Cheers -Ian |

Thanks y'all. I appreciate all of the comments, even those I don't agree with, or find a bit abrasive.
Life is good. Very good. Ride smart. Stay safe. On a more positive note, I'm delving into a full refresh on my 55 Chevy pickup. I may not ride motorcycles anymore, but maybe the local guys will let me sweep for them and haul their broken down stuff home for them this summer! Godspeed my friends. |

![]() And... glad the OP made it through, the human body and mind can sometimes endure quite a bit. The firemen and medics, definitely deserve a kudos, their job is a really tough one. |

Since this thread already got off track, I'll take it another direction and request the OP post pics of his '55 Chevy truck.
Glad you made it through the crash, man. Thanks for the story. Keep the faith. |

SRMN8R,
I don't get it. You gave god credit for saving your life but no blame for the crash that almost cost you your life and would have cost you your life except for the paramedics, doctors, etc that really saved your life. ![]() Anyway, I am glad that we have the people and technology available that saved your life.
