If you medical experts would listen to KDub's comment on what Bell told him you might learn a bit from the asterisk crew.

Seems Bell was afraid to move because he hurt his back a year ago and wasn't going to move. Plus the wind was knocked out of him, turns out he wasn't really hurt at all. Mark another one up for the medical crew on the scene, loss for the TV/internet medical crew here.
Seemed rather obvious to me from watching Bell on TV that he was fine.

As for Hahn's broke toe, any of you experts on sewing up broke toes have any idea how to treat a broken toe? You tape it to the toe next to it, that's all. Then you go your merry way and forget about it.

Not everyone has your experience to draw upon when analyzing a crash.

What more could a series or fan ask for than the crazy depth of the field in SX yet, not much battling for the race wins this year.

I loved when Ralph yelled "Fire baby, Fire!"

I have the utmost respect for Doc Bodner's medical crew.
Comment was tongue in cheek, reiterating how valuable they are to keep the racers racing with their top notch portable hospital.

I figured Wilber's toe was split and broken
It sure didn't slow him down much did it?

Next time you get about 10 feet of air over a double grab the front brake in the air and see what happens.

Or just watch Zach Bell in slo- mo and you'll see it happen. RC knows what he's talking about.

seemed rather obvious to me from watching on TV that a neck collar and a spine board were in order.

they do it at the local level all the time.

oh thats right Asterisk doesn't use those they just pick the guy up like a side of beef or hold the guys bike who's trying to start it after getting his bell rung like Big Ben, they are part of the race after all.

I was very surprised that Wilson could not catch and pass Hahn.......... same for Villopoto and Stewart.

Congrats, to Hahn for his first main win. - Stewart looked good. - Villopoto did not look comfortable in the whoops.

Hey, Flug, since you're so passionate about rider safety why don't YOU get involved at your local races instead of standing around taking pics.

They have to do it at the local races because they have no clue how to evaluate so they assume the worst for every tip over. Otherwise here come the ambulance chasing shysters.

I do mostly agree that at that level of medical expertise (almost none) that it is probably a good idea to assume the worst.

I've picked up more bikes off kids and grabbed more flags from casual flag men and told more face glued to cell phone flaggers to pay attention then I can count and when I do $4000 worth of Nikon goes on the ground real quick so bite me.

+1 on all of this.

I've been waiting for a couple of years for Hahn to get a win, maybe now he knows he can and we'll see him on the top step some more!
