I am going to pull the swingarm, clean off swarf, check/grease bearings, replace chain, sprockets, tire, etc...
No centerstand sux... portable swingarm stand doesn't help.
Gonna build a stand that bolts into peg mounts.

Yeah, I do miss the convenience of a proper centerstand too. I've just hung the front or rear from two long ratchet straps attached in a vee spread up to some rafters. I break the axle loose first before the hoist as the bike moves a bit or just air ratchet what ever needs removing.

For winter work, I've got fork seals, RT valves, and springs on the list to do by spring. A swing arm bearing check and lube sounds good too. The fuel tank can use some attention as well. The tank has some surface rust spots inside and I'd like to Por-15 line it for the long haul. Also, the fuel cap just started leaking at the end of last season if I fill it and then put the bike on the side stand. Not sure about the quality of the knock off caps on eBay from China, but there's not much else coming up for replacements.

Talk about dusty! The crows are flying backwards here just to keep the dust out of their eyes.
The XO and I came back from a ride to Bathurst after Christmas on the 900, and hit 45 degrees C coming across the Hay Plain into Mildura.
I have to say that was stretching the friendship a bit, but better than freezing your ass off.
If you don't like the weather in Aotearoa, wait around for five minutes!

45c Madness. 30c kills me. Your right about the weather up here. Benign, mainly warm with just enough rain to keep the farmers happy.
Thanks for your comment. I'm more interested in being a good rider than a fast one. I do like to get home safe & sound.
