Eagles cut Cullen Jenkins..wouldn't mind seeing him wearing the green and gold again and the packers actually having a pass rush.

Got closer than 27? other teams did that year, and it wasn't at all out of reach until after Montana went down with a concussion.

Alex Smith is no Montana, though, either in age, or in talent. As long as they don't Cassel his contract, I'm happy with the pickup. He's better than any of the draft choices available, and it lets them use the draft to bolster other needs. I think it's a good move for both teams, if it goes through.

At the right price definetly, the pass rush died as soon as he left, picket is just old and slow.

Smith will be a good guy to build a offense around till you can draft or sign a true franchise quarterback, he probably won't win you any titles thou. This draft class I don't see any QBs that could become elite like last years class.

On a different note its interesting to read how the dolphins philbin says the seahawks grossly overpaid to get Matt Flynn last year and I agree that teams overreact to a guy having a few good games.

Come on man everyone knows teddy loves to throw the money around, look at signing Saturday last year. I'm not really sure why they would pay Jennings like 9 mill to play another year when that's more than his market value. They really need help on defense and Cullen Jenkins would help a lot.
