I think Old Skool would have to want to have us back and I kind of doubt that's the case.

This just cracks me up... I looked at the title to this and wondered wtf.... I had no clue that things had changed, but now that you point it out, I do like to be able to set it up to my visual satisfaction......oh the wonders of digital technology.... even for us OSOF (that would be Old School Old Farts) !!!

Speaking of Old School Charlie, are you related to Henry Disston?

I think Henry might've made that cool axle nut wrench you gave me.

When I needed an Ebay name many years ago I would not accept anything that wasn't a name name, if you know what I mean. I tried a bunch of obscure names, so I thought, but all of them were taken. I was going thru a tool box in my room and trying all the names of tools in that box and hit upon the name of this small key hole type saw I had. It hit. And I have been disston ever since. Every once in a while I get asked for family history type answers to some tool collectors conundrum and have to confess that I don't know didley squat about Disston Saws.

Then I started using it for other places but now I regret that. Some day when I want to rip my friends off by selling stuff on Ebay at outrageous prices they will know it's me. Live and learn.

I think the wrench was a Heyco, wasn't it? BTW, I now have a hammer and a working test light for you. Did you ever get the broken test light working?

Thank you

I did not like that new site at all. Nice to have the old one back.

Charlie-
The tool is stamped "RK" on one side, and "22" on the other side (22 mm). With a quick google search, all I found was a hardware supplier "RKL", so I'm not sure what the etiology is of the nice stubby axle nut wrench. Let me know if you have any clues on who "RK" is or was in the tool-manufacturing trade. No, I've made no progress on finding a bulb to fit the test lamp. I can return it to you if you'd like it back. I know like a dysfunctional drug-addicted parent you've been trying to push a hammer on me for quite some time, but I'm trying to be a good boy. TC and the 'bum are anti-hammer, as you know. When I do use a hammer, it's my Big A rubber "persuader". As for the test light, when I finally get smart, I figure I'll buy a cheap one at NAPA....in the meantime I'm stuck with trying to figure out my bottom-of-the-line multimeter. Thank you for your generosity, as always.

Edit: I just found a pic of the "RK" stamp, and it was apparently an OEM Honda "repair kit" tool. Could this be true Charlie??? You're sending me HONDA tools!!!! I'm obligated to report this to the authorities. See pic here:

No I don't know where the wrench came from. I thought I had sent you something from the Super tool kit but maybe it was a Honda wrench. I do have a fair amount of Japanese motorcycle tools. I'm trying to build a complete kit for my BMW with them.

I won't send you the hammer. But I have a test light for you. Will try to post this week.

I'll write you off list. We have taken enough bandwidth OT on this thread.
