tires/bike shop in Chaing Mai or BKK (Thailand)

Hi mates,

can any of you recommend a bike shop in Chiang Mai or Bangkok?
We have to do some small repairs + we are in need of new tires for the Himalaya part of our trip.

tire size: 130/80-18 and 100/90-19
semi-offroad tires are preferred like Mitas E07, Heidenau K60, Duro or something simular. no nobbies!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers

Panny

I've used The Dirt Shop in BKK .

Up north, just find one of the 100's of shops that are up there.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply.
100s shops sounds more like the usual asian small bike stuff. Do you think they sell tires in our dimensions, too + have such tires in stock?

Cheers

They rent "big bikes" up there (tons of kawasaki KLX 250's) and you should be able to get tires, parts and service. Below is a link to some shops in the area.

LINK to some places :

As a last resort ride into the Riders Corner Bar (You can't miss it). The owners are good people, the place is clean and they will be able to hook you up with the mechanics & parts you need.
