Might toss the DR in the truck for this one. Got some easy gravel on the menu?

Friday May 17 6pm. to Monday May 20th afternoon/evening.

Hawk Lake Lot 209 Hawk Air Rd. 15 minutes from wawa via hwy 101.

I'll have some food (snacks etc) but not a lot of frills other than fresh water, A hot Sauna. Lots of tent space and tons of great riding. (maybe some route tracks if I have time).

A place for anyone with a love for motorcycles and adventure to gather and share a great weekend of story telling and riding.

Gas and Groceries available in Wawa only. Restaurant in Hawk junction.

Gord
Is this a hard core in the bush or easy gravel? Wondering what to bring bike wise

I imagine you could bring a Harley-Davidson and hang out at the cabin guzzling for 3 days, but riding is good too! Probably could make 2 groups : advanced hardcore & easy-cheezies ride slow and stop for pictures.
Is North Rider going?

Normally I'd ride the Bandit out, but I'd like to try something a little different. Like cruising at 110 kph with the heater ON! It's just too far to ride the DR though. It'll be a learning trip for me.

I'm almost sure I'll make it, but may have to still take it a bit easy.

Hekto its right. Bring whatever. Ride wherever. I'm sure there will be several groups going out long short. Easy hard.....
I have a couple loops in mind that aren't hard and will offer 100 to 150 miles of 50-70% good dirt road.
One will bring Ron to renabie.

Looking forward to another Ice Breaker and hopefully Finndian will hold a movie night... And maybe a tire changing clinic again. Last years' clinic was truly inspiring. as he most likely set a Guinness Book of records for most patches on single tube !!!!!

Nothing like a killer sauna ! Gord how did the high water affect things? Much damage to shoreline? I am guessing the sauna is ok. Some of the previous IceBreaker "Rides" actually may have had too much riding ! All day everyday ! Not much time for telling BS Stories or visiting

Not to worry Lyle! If I showup it will be in a truck pulling a trailered bike also Still don't know and probably won't know until the week before if I can go.

Too early to say for certain but might ride part way on Saturday after work and join in later Sunday morning. Ride out on Monday.
Have to wait and see...

Tire changing clinics are never pre mediated. :)
Maybe Hekto will make it and can do a slide show of his vacation.

I intend to be there too. Not sure which bike I'll bring. Thinking maybe 2011 CBR150R (2011 Thai CBR150R engine swapped into 2011 CBR125R). It would be my first trip with the bike. Hope to do some camping along the way. There's nothing like riding a small displacement bike along the north shore tucked in and screaming at 11,500 RPM with full complement of gear behind you.
