Route planning

I'm planning an Italian Alps trip.

Land in Milan, do Passo Dordano that is off road, Umbrail, Stelvio, Tonnale, over to Arabba, Gardena, Sella, Tre Croci, Falzarego, Fedaia, Pordoi, then down to Tremalzo for some more off road.

My question? How do you guys/gals plan your routes?

I've been using google maps, I'll then buy the garmin map for Italy and download it.

How else is it done?

Thanks

Mike

Some people use the Garmin software.

I've been using the Harley ride planner for a few years now. It is online, allows download to a GPS, and I can share the route with others going on the ride. Link is: http://rideplanner.harley-davidson.c...idePlanner.jsp
