Sturgis trip 2013

Planning my Sturgis bike trip and would like any feedback for not to miss stops, roads to take etc.

Here are my plans that are subject to change based on the feedback I get.

Start in Denver go to Sturgis. (drop off friends who stay for the week.)
Leave Sturgis go to Badlands NP
Badlands to Mt Rushmore
Mt Rushmore to Billings MT (2 brothers live there)
Billings to Yellowstone NP
Yellowstone to Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole
Jackson to RMNP
RMNP to Denver

2568 total miles Minimum and 9 days max. 08/03-08/11

Camodog, if you have never been to the Black Hills there are days worth of roads to ride. Vanocker Canyon, Nemo Road, Needles hwy., Custer State Park wildlife loop, Iron Mountain Road, Spearfish Canyon, Mount Rushmore, Hwys 34 & 24 to Devils Tower, route 17 to Rochford, etc. Crazy Horse Memorial, Sylvan Lake, hwy 85 to Four Corners, on and on. A beautiful place to ride. Have a fabulous trip.

Thanks Steve, my trip planning is ever evolving, I have decided to skip Glacier and spend more time riding the more southern areas. I will be adding your suggestions to my plans. I really appreciate the feedback.

I do plan to stay off the major highways as much as possible. Interstate riding can be quite boring.
