Best maps for Zumo 550 in Baja?
I can do it with paper maps and will have them along, but what is the best mapset for a Zumo 550? Not much off road will be done this trip, but it may be too tempting so I need the best I can find. Thanks for the advice.
Yeah, I know the 550 isn't the best for off road, but it's what I have right now and it works great in Europe where there's not much off road riding anyway. |

I own this Baja map:
http://www.lbmaps.com/ The price is low and it shows all the commonly traveled routes while not being overly cluttered however..... The LB Map doesn't auto route (not a big loss IMO). Doesn't have street level detail of the urban areas (some are better then others) Hasn't been updated in some time. It will work fine for 50% of the folks. If you need more then look at: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=532667 and go to the end for latest info. Also be sure you have a paper backup. Bruce |
