He's a phenomenal talent. Actually I wonder, where those people are, who said he's a cheater and all that, just last year..

Pedrosa probably knows he's gotta finally get that title this year, once MM learns all the tricks he'll be unstoppable. Looks like he just might be a candidate already.

I forget which Spanish site did an analysis of Marquez's test performance compared to Pedrosa and Lorenzo. On paper, Marquez was marginally better than Pedrosa, who was marginally better than Lorenzo, and we know who has more championships between Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

Marquez is showing he's capable of fighting for podiums and maybe wins. More than that, over the course of a 45-minute race and an 18 round season vs. Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Rossi, is impossible to predict.

Googling 'ben spies "real deal"' gets around 100,000 hits. A real deal is 20-20 hindsight.

I'm hoping that is slowing him down some... not just the turd he is riding.
He is way behind in days testing so I assume his bike is not all set up the way he wants it plus his shoulder and conditioning are prob not 100% yet.

wonder if the ducati has changed, so that even Stoner couldn't override it to victory these days. As in, there's no hope for it, no matter how much you adapt your style to push it.

This doesnt seem like much of a stretch considering two world champs havent been able to produce much, as far as good results, over the last couple of years.

Ducati hasn't won since the last time Berlusconi was in charge so maybe the recent Italian election results are a good sign for the red team. Makes as much sense as any other theory.

I don't know about Italians, but I do remember DC re-electing Marion Barry after his scandal.

Politicians and scandal go hand in hand it seems to me. Plus, you really can't judge another culture unless you have grown up in it.
